Ivy Tech, Indiana University and Indiana State University are among the schools which have announced the tuition hikes they'll seek in the coming months.

Ivy Tech Community College will hold a public hearing today in Indianapolis to discuss a possible increase in tuition and student fees for the next two academic years.

The college has proposed to raise tuition by $20 per credit hour over the next two years.

Five percent of the fall 2013 increase was requested by the college‘s student government association to go towards student activities.

The technology fee will remain $60 per semester.

Indiana University and Indiana State University have already announced the tuition increase they’ll seek from their boards of trustees.
