IU Faculty Council Supports McRobbie Stance On Marriage Ban

The IU Faculty Council announced its support for President McRobbie's decision to join the Freedom Indiana Coalition and not support a state marriage ban.

After Indiana University President Michael McRobbie announced Monday IU would not support the proposed marriage ban in the state and would join the Freedom Indiana Coalition, the IU Faculty Council announced today it would support McRobbie.

In a statement released by the University today the council expressed support for these two points and urged other faculty groups to “adopt resolutions in support of the two points”.
