IUPUI Shrinks While IU East, Kokomo See Record Enrollment

Enrollment was up significantly at two satellite campus, while grown at IU Bloomington remained steady. System wide enrollment is around 95,000 students.

IUPUI's enrollment decreased from last year, while IU East and IU Kokomo saw record numbers of students.

Enrollment figures released Wednesday by Indiana University show steady growth across the university system, with the highest growth percentages shown at IU East and IU Kokomo.

IU Bloomington grew slightly to 40,479 students. The Bloomington campus set a record for international enrollment, a figure that is up more than 12-percent this year.

Other satellite campus saw a slight decrease in enrollment, with IU South Bend losing 5.2-precent of its students. IUPUI, IU Northwest, and IU Southeast also lost students.
