The Indiana University Hoosiers, who were ranked No. 3 on Saturday, have reclaimed their No. 1 pre-season ranking, according to the new AP poll that was released this afternoon.
The Hoosiers defeated the No. 1 Michigan Wolverines in an 81-73 thriller Saturday night at Assembly Hall. The Kansas Jayhawks, the team that ranked No. 2 last week, lost to the Oklahoma State Cowboys, 85-80 on their home court in Lawrence, Kansas on the same night.
The Hoosiers are 20-2 overall and 8-1 in the Big Ten Conference. They travel to the Illinois Fighting Illini on Thursday night.
