If the Indiana University Men’s basketball team wins Wednesday night’s game, it will be the team’s twentieth win this season. The win could also be Coach Tom Crean’s first time to win twenty games as IU’s head basketball coach.
In a press conference last week, Crean said he believes the team’s defense is getting much stronger.
“I think guys are adding things to their game. I think we’re getting better in the post especially with post defense,” he says. “There’s no question that our awareness is improving, and I think that’s a huge part of defense. We may, give up some baskets but it’s not from being out of position.”
Junior Jordan Hulls says players on the team should be confident they can keep winning games.
“The ceiling is limitless for this team,” he says. “We are constantly getting better every single day. I mean, we lost a couple games there, but in that process we were still getting better.”
The Hoosiers will tip-off with the Northwestern Wildcats Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.
