Baseball season’s here, and this week, a 14-year Indiana old girl tried out for Bloomington South’s freshman team. But a state athletic association rule almost kept her off the field because of her gender. After almost a year of legal wrangling and uncertainty, she finally got her shot to prove she’s good enough to play with the boys. WFIU’s Daniel Robison has more.
