From the Indianapolis police to a force in Washington for Frank Straub.

Indianapolis’ former public safety director has a new job.  Frank Straub was named Spokane, Washington’s police chief at a news conference Wednesday.

Straub‘s last day in Indianapolis was August 10th. He had announced his resignation in April after an often tumultuous tenure of two years and eight months, marked by frequent clashes with the Fraternal Order of Police and the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department‘s handling of the case of David Bisard, an officer who faces charges that he killed a motorcyclist because he was driving drunk in his patrol car.
