Indiana Sports Corporation representatives are in New York to make their pitch for Indianapolis to join in hosting soccer’s World Cup. The selection committee for the 2018 and 2022 tournaments is touring New York, Washington, Miami, Dallas, and Houston to assess the US bid to host the tournament. Soccer’s international governing body, FIFA will make the final selection December second. If the US is chosen, USA Soccer will decide which cities should host the matches. Indy is one of 18 cities that have expressed interest.
