Indianapolis Will Host Olympic Diving Trials in 2016

Indianapolis has been chosen to host the diving trials for the 2016 summer games in Rio de Janeiro.

Indianapolis has been chosen to host the 2016 U.S. Olympic Team Trials-Diving. The trials will be held at the IU Natatorium on the IUPUI campus and will determine who represents the country in Diving in the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.

The event will be held over 8 days in June of 2016. Indianapolis is no stranger to the trials, the city previously hosted in 1984, 1988, 1992, 1996 and 2008. Indianapolis was selected after a three-month process that included site visits to six cities. Atlanta was the other semifinalist.
