The Indiana men’s basketball team faces Georgia Tech tonight in round one of the National Invitation Tournament.
This is Indiana’s first-ever trip to Georgia Tech. IU leads the overall series with the Yellow Jackets two games to zero.
IU is not hosting the opening round due to Spring Break, but will host if they advance, according to a statement on the IU website.
The Hoosiers are a three seed in the Syracuse Quadrant with a record of 18-15. Six-seeded Georgia Tech is 17-15 with wins against North Carolina and Notre Dame.
The winner advances to the second round later this week against Georgia or Belmont.
Tip-off is scheduled for 9 p.m. on ESPN.
