Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller is a part of a new group assigned to address consumer fraud. Attorney General Eric Holder announced Tuesday the formation of the team under President Barack Obama’s Financial Fraud Enforcement Task Force.
He says it will bring together federal, state, and local partners to address several areas of concern, including payday lending and other high-pressure telemarketing or internet scams. The consumer protection working group will also target for-profit schools that engage in fraud or misrepresentation.
