The Indiana University men’s and women’s basketball teams kicked off the season Saturday night with the annual Hoosier Hysteria rally.

The Hoosier faithful packed Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall as players on both teams were introduced to thousands of Hoosiers fans.

Taking in the action courtside were some high-profile high school basketball recruits, including New Albany High School standout Romeo Langford, the top high school basketball prospect in Indiana and the fifth ranked hooper in the nation.

Fans were treated to a flurry of events which included a three point shootout, dunk contest, skills competition and an inter-team scrimmage to cap off the night.

The men’s team tip off the season with a home game on Oct. 28 against Marian University.
