Hoosier Energy Looks To Build New Facility In Owen County

Hoosier Energy says it is looking to open a new facility in Owen County.

Bloomington-based Hoosier Energy wants to build a power facility in Owen County. The company intends to invest up to 30 million dollars on the operation.

Owen County Economic Development Executive Director Denise Shaw says the organization has done “five years of work in five months” to get the infrastructure in place for the development. More than 60 employees would be based at the new location.
