Homelessness — especially among children and young adults — is a topic often forgotten in cosmopolitan Bloomington, but the problem is compounded by intolerance of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered youth, who are often shunned by their families and forced to fend for themselves. WFIU’s Cliff Gagliardo profiles one such person and talks to social services experts and lawmakers about what can be done.
