Ninth District Libertarian candidate Greg Knott spent election day trying to drum up last minute support for his campaign.
It’s the day of elections, but politicians are still out trying to rally support for their campaigns. Ninth District Libertarian candidate Greg Knott spent the day visiting polling locations across the area. At Assembly Hall in Bloomington he parked his SUV and displayed his “Vote for Greg “No Bull” Knott” banner. Knott says it’s been a great campaign, but he’s glad to see it end. He says one thing he’s learned is that students are much more open-minded than older generations.
“The students they may be ignorant, but they’re aware,” Knott said. “That’s the important thing.”
Knott faces Republican Todd Young and Democrat Baron Hill in the race for the ninth district. Analysts and polls show the race is too close to call.
