One thousand new employees are being added at Honda's Greensburg plant. The new hires will work primarily in production.
The Honda plant in Greensburg is hiring 1000 new employees. According to spokesperson Anita Sipes the jobs will be in the production department and employees will work second shift.
“Most of the positions are for our process associates and those are associates that work on the line building our civic sedan,” said Sipes.
The positions are open now and hiring will continue through the summer. Honda will only consider applications from those residing in a county pre-selected by the company. These areas include Decatur and surrounding counties. You can find a full list of these counties, as well as a link to apply for positions at www.honda.com. Sipes says Honda hopes to have a fully-staffed second shift up and running before the end of this year.
