Grace College, Oakland City University plan to take over Indiana's prison GED programs.

Department of Corrections officials say Grace College and Oakland City University will soon run the state’s GED programs for prison inmates. The DOC expects to sign contracts with the two colleges, and officials say the new colleges will take over August 1.

Ivy Tech Community College was previously administering the GED program, but Ivy Tech allowed their contract to expire after disagreements over whether the community college could increase the number of staff they were providing to the program for the same cost.
