Governor Mitch Daniels will take over as Purdue University's president beginning January of 2013.
Governor Daniels will address December graduates at Indiana University in Bloomington. Daniels will complete his second four-year term as governor in January and will begin serving as president of Purdue University.
IU president Michael McRobbie says the university is honored to have the governor as commencement speaker. McRobbie says Daniels has had a very distinguished career in the public and private sector and has been a popular and respected governor.
