A new line to produce castings for an 8-speed automatic transmission will create 58 jobs at the GM plant in Bedford.
General Motors is planning to add 58 jobs to its Beford operation. The automaker intends to establish a new line to produce castings for an 8-speed automatic transmission. GM said it is also still in the process of fulfilling 245 jobs related to a $111 million investment in Bedford last year.
