A set of twins were among the babies born on Leap Day 2012 at Bloomington Hospital.
At least five babies — including a set of twins — were born Wednesday at IU Health Bloomington Hospital. Clinical Director for Labor and Delivery Judy Roberts says parents received toy frogs that recognize the significance of their child’s unique birthdate.
“We gave each of the new moms frogs with a little note that says, ‘Your doctor and nurses offer congratulations as you leap into the role of parenthood in Leap Year 2012,’” Robert says.
No word on when any of the parents will celebrate their baby’s first birthday.
