More snow is in the forecast

Forecasters from the National Weather Service are predicting another round of winter weather Thursday. A Winter Storm Advisory is in effect until 1 A.M. Friday. An estimated 3-6 inches of snowfall is expected across south central Indiana by Thursday night.

Roads will become slippery and visibilities will be reduced causing hazardous travel conditions especially during rush hour.

Most of the snowfall is expected before mid afternoon on Thursday. Winds will increase on the back side of the storm and may cause blowing and drifting snow.

Reports of delays and closings will be updated on our website, IndianaPublicMedia.org/closings.
