James Finney will be sentenced tomorrow in the murder of Adam Sarnecki.

The man convicted of murdering Adam Sarnecki in a Bloomington Pizza X parking lot, will be sentenced tomorrow.

A 12-person jury found James Finney guilty of murdering Sarnecki in 2011 and of two charges of carrying a handgun without a license.

Prosecuting attorneys argued Finney shot Sarnecki, in the parking lot of the pizza store where he worked even though he was unarmed.

Defense attorneys argued Sarnecki chased Finney in self-defense after he found Finney breaking into a car.

However, the evidence, including a police video in which Finney confessed to the murder, persuaded the jury to pronounce a guilty verdict.
