Sixth District Representative Mike Pence hosts a townhall meeting focused on health care legislation and federal spending. The crowd was mostly peaceful and tended to agree with Pence's partisan-tinged arguments against President Obama's domestic agenda.

At a town hall meeting at Columbus church Thursday, Sixth District Congressman Mike Pence referenced his — and the crowds’ faith — in his comments on the nation’s health care debate.  But, as WFIU’s Daniel Robison reports, when pressed on exactly how his faith informs his views on health care, Pence had little to say.

Daniel started as WFIU's Assistant News Director in July 2008. He graduated with a B.A. in history in 2007 and earned an M.A. in journalism two years later. Daniel hosts Ask the Mayor weekly and the occasional Noon Edition. He also hosts Morning Edition on Thursdays, sleepily. Daniel's beats include everything News Director Stan Jastrzebski wants him to cover. And it feels strange to type biography of myself in the third person like this. So that's that.

Thanks, Daniel. I only wish others would deal with the higher moral issues instead of some of the innane issues people use to excuse them from caring.
