The site is being redeveloped.

The Bloomington Economic Development Corporation has been awarded $20,000 from Duke Energy to make the former ABB industrial site on North Curry Pike in Bloomington ready for redevelopment. Duke Energy’s Indiana Area Manager Pam Chapman says when the redevelopment is completed, the site will be ready for a new tenant to build on.

“It’s located over on the west side of the Bloomington area,” she says, “It’s already an existing industrial area on the city’s west side. It’s a great location. The infrastructure such as the utility services and rail services are already in place next to the site.”

The work is expected to be complete by April and will include an environmental report, land surveys and creation of maps.
