Tim Durham’s defense rested Tuesday after calling only one witness. Durham himself did not take the stand. Bill Dazey, lawyer for Durham’s co-defendant Jim Cochran, made opening remarks to the jury but called no witnesses.
Dazey did offer almost 60 pieces of evidence to the jury including financial certificates from Fair Finance, the bank in Akron Ohio Durham and his associates are accused of mismanaging to the point of bankruptcy.
Closing arguments will wrap up Tuesday afternoon and jury deliberation will begin Wednesday morning.
