Students and fans are hoping to score tickets to Indiana University’s Sweet 16 matchup versus the University of Kentucky Wildcats. The game will take place this Friday in Atlanta, and whether someone gets a ticket could depend on how dedicated a fan they are.
According to the IU Athletics website, a limited number of season-ticket holders have received emails notifying them if they qualify. That qualification is based on the Athletics Department’s University Priority Point Policy, which means the more games a season-ticket holder has attended over the course of the season, the greater chance they will be given the opportunity to purchase tickets.
Tickets cover access to the two regional semifinal games on Friday and the NCAA regional final on Sunday. If the Hoosiers win they will take on the winner of the Xavier versus Baylor game. Tickets cost $175 plus a $10 processing fee.
IU Athletics Media Representative J.D. Campbell says there are currently no plans to provide transportation for students from Bloomington to Atlanta.
