Daniels will give the Republican response to President Obama's State of the Union Speech.
Governor Mitch Daniels is set to give a response to the state of the union speech. House Speaker John Boehner and Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell announced today that Daniels will deliver the Republican address to the nation following the president’s State of the Union Address on January 24.
Boehner and McConnell say Daniels has compiled a solid record of effective government and fiscal responsibility, making him well-suited to outline republicans’ better solutions to the challenges Americans.
