Cummins Recalls School Bus and Other Vehicle Engines

Cummins is recalling thousands of vehicle engines that is says are a fire risk.

Buses with Cummins engines have been recalled because of possible fire risks.

Thousands of Cummins produced school bus engines are now being recalled. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration the engines are at high risk for fire, due to a weak exhaust system.

The engines were placed in Thomas-built school buses, trucks, and emergency vehicles. Nearly 12,000 engines are included in the recall. Affected customers can contact authorized dealers to schedule free repairs.
