Thousands of Cummins produced school bus engines are now being recalled. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration the engines are at high risk for fire, due to a weak exhaust system.
The engines were placed in Thomas-built school buses, trucks, and emergency vehicles. Nearly 12,000 engines are included in the recall. Affected customers can contact authorized dealers to schedule free repairs.
