Terre Haute could get a boost to its economy with the announcement that the Pfizer plan will be re-developed.
A California-based pharmaceutical company announced plans to build a new plant in Vigo County. Nantworks, LLC. plans to invest $85.5 million dollars to re-develop the former Pfizer plant on the south side of Terre Haute.
The plant will produce critical care injectable and oncological drugs. Officials say the new facility will create up to 234 jobs by 2016.
