“I see a lot of communities that their main source of grocery shopping is a Dollar General or Family Dollar or even a Speedway gas station.” There are more food deserts in Indianapolis than any other place in the country. The impact that has on communities and how residents are banding together to improve access to healthy food.

Visitors flock to Bloomington for basketball games, graduations and conventions. “We are already sold out for parents weekend November 7 and 8. We are almost sold out for homecoming … freshman weekend is almost sold out and we have reservations into January 2015.” Hundreds of hotel rooms are under construction, but is there consistently enough demand to fill them?
