The Indianapolis Colts could have major player changes next year with Peyton Manning's injury and the possible draft of Andrew Luck.
The Colts ended the season with a loss to the Jaguars and finished with a 2-14 record, but all was not lost. The Colts secured the number one slot in April‘s NFL draft, and Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck is looming large.
Peyton Manning was asked about Luck after the game, and he said he has always been a good teammate and can play with any teammate.
“I think I can co-exist with any player I‘ve ever played with,” he said. “I think I‘ve always been a good teammate that way. But to speculate on who we‘re going to draft, that‘s just not, that‘s more for other people to do.”
There are still concerns over Manning‘s health, and he is due a $28 million option bonus in about two months. Manning says he is well aware there could be massive changes in the organization. The team must also address key members of the team becoming free agents, including Reggie Wayne, Pierre Garcon, Robert Mathis and Jeff Saturday.
