Ascena Retail Group plans to invest approximately $34 million in its Greencastle operations.
A national specialty retailer of apparel for women and young girls has announced plans to expand its operations in Greencastle, creating up to 242 new jobs by 2018.
Ascena Retail Group plans to invest approximately $34 million to transform 123 acres into its primary e-commerce distribution site. The Greencastle distribution center, locally known as “FB Distro” – was purchased by Charming Shoppes in 1987.
Ascena acquired Charming Shoppes in June and plans to continue to employ 185 associates in Greencastle and will begin hiring additional workers this fall.
