A local clerk-treasurer will serve nearly three years in prison for embezzling money.
A former Southern Indiana clerk-treasurer will be sentenced to almost three years in prison for overpaying herself for four years. Rebecka Fee embezzled in excess of $365,000 from the town of Brownstown while she served as its clerk-treasurer. U.S. District Court Judge Richard Youg called the action, “a crime of greed.”
