For the first time, the Indiana Commission for Higher Education recommended levels of tuition increases the state’s public universities they feel should not be surpassed. Indiana University squeaked in just below the ICHE’s five percent recommended maximum. As WFIU’s Daniel Robison reports, the university is raising tuition not only to meet current costs, but in anticipation of decreased funding from the state in years ahead.
