A self-titled album by Bon Iver won two Grammys Sunday.

One of the big winners at the Grammy Awards has ties to Indiana. Bon Iver (musician Justin Vernon) picked up two Grammys Sunday night, for best new artist and best alternative music album. His record label, Jagjaguwar, is based in Bloomington and signed Vernon to a record deal in 2007 after he released his first album on his own.

Jagjaguwar’s Lucy Robinson says following the two Grammy wins and a recent performance on Saturday Night Live, the company expects an increase in sales of Bon Iver‘s most recent, self-titled album. She says the album is not far from being certified gold.
