Two Bloomington Playgrounds To Temporarily Close

The Crestmont Park playground and the Winslow Woods Park playground will be closed for repairs during a few days in September.

The Winslow Park playground is being closed for maintenance.

Two neighborhood playgrounds in Bloomington will be closed in mid-September to paint equipment and conduct routine maintenance, the city of Bloomington announced Monday.

Here are the two playgrounds and recommended alternatives:

The Crestmont Park – 1100 N. Illinois St.

Closed: September 9 – September 11

Alternate Nearby Park: Ernest D. Butler Park at 812 W. Ninth St.

Winslow Woods Park – 2120 S. Highland Ave

Closed: September 12 – September 19

Alternate Nearby Park: Olcott Park playground at 2300 E. Canada Drive
