According to a new report Bloomington ranks 16th in the country on a list of best performing cities.
A new report ranks Bloomington 16th in the nation based on job growth, wages and technology. That’s a big jump up from ranking 57 last year. The Milken Institute’s Best Performing Cities Index is a yearly report that ranks U.S. metropolitan areas by how well they create and sustain jobs and economic growth. Bloomington’s ranking is among 179 small metros in the nation. The next best small metro in Indiana is Columbus, coming in at 111th. Others include Lafayette, Anderson and Terre Haute.
