The City of Bloomington plans to hold a ceremony Tuesday, September 11 to commemorate the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center. The ceremony will be held at 9 a.m. at Showers Plaza outside City Hall, 401 N. Morton Street.
The Bloomington Metropolitan Firefighters Pipes & Drums will perform and the city will host a presentation of the colors. Some elected officials and candidates plan to attend the ceremony including State Senator Vi Simpson and Mayor Mark Kruzan.
The ceremony is open to the public.
