The Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce has announced its endorsement of the Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation’s high school renovations plan. Chamber President Jack Hess says the number one issue that most of the chamber’s member companies want addressed is having a prepared and educated workforce. He says the school district’s project is critical in addressing that concern. Hess says the Chamber believes the renovations also address community concerns about the schools.
Hess says Columbus is blessed to be one community with two great high schools. He says having a quality educational system is an important asset when attracting new businesses.
