ESPN NCAA men's basketball analyst Jay Williams visits with IU Men's Basketball Scout Calbert Cheaney prior to a workout Wednesday in Assembly Hall. Williams is visiting IU and its staff as part of his preparation for the 2012-13 season.

Former Chicago Bulls NBA player Jay Williams says he is coming to observe the IU basketball team for 2012-2013 season. IU basketball spokesperson J.D. Campbell confirmed Williams arrived Tuesday to watch practices to help with his ESPN commentary.

Williams, a top NBA draft from Duke University, played one season for the Bulls before being injured in motorcycle crash that ended his career. Williams now works for ESPN as a college basketball analyst.
