Three have been arrested following a fight and subsequent drowning at the Fourwinds boat rental dock.
The results of an autopsy are expected Tuesday in the death of Anderson man who likely drowned this weekend at Monroe Lake.
According to police, Matthew Hosier got into a fight at the Fourwinds boat rental dock Saturday evening. At some point during the argument, Hosier entered the water and didn’t resurface. Emergency personnel were dispatched and divers recovered Hosier. He was taken to Bloomington Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Police have arrested three people in connection with the incident. Dillon Barrett is charged with battery and involuntary manslaughter, both of which are felonies. Rian Lemons was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. And Justin Austin was arrested for disorderly conduct and public intoxication.
Hosier was from Anderson, Indiana.
