Bicycle transportation has increased and thanks to a research project, so have services the city of Bloomington offers cyclists.
“Once I gathered all this information it really was a question of how do we get that to people and make it really useful,” said Michael Steinhoff, IU Sustainability Task Force Intern Coordinator.
Locations on campus are highlighted in an easy to follow-guide, which allows cyclists to find easy routes, park, and ride on smooth surfaces.
Steinhoff says the goal of the map is to fill gaps in the campus transportation map and ensure safety of both bikers and walkers.
