Some members of the 9/11 Commission are gathering at Indiana University for a public discuss 10 years after the September 11 attacks.
Members of the U.S. 9/11 commission plan to speak at Indiana University in honor of the 10th anniversary of September 11.
IU will host a public discussion on Thursday, Sept. 15, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., featuring some of the members of the commission. IU says this the first time the commissioners have met together since issuing their 2004 report on the attacks.
Former U.S. Representative and vice chairman of the commission, Lee Hamilton, also plans to speak separately on the state of Homeland Security at the Indiana University Maurer School of Law on Friday, Sept. 16, at 10 a.m.
Both events are free and open to the public.
