33 Arrested In Kokomo Drug Investigation

The arrests were made at the Garden Square apartment complex. Those arrested face charges ranging from dealing cocaine and marijuana to neglect of a dependent.

Kokomo police arrested 33 people Wednesday as part of a nine-month investigation. Major Don Whitehead says around 6 a.m. Wednesday morning, officers from the Howard County Drug Task Force, the Kokomo Police Department, the Howard County Sheriff Department, and Indiana State Police conducted warrant sweeps at the Garden Square apartment complex. Officers developed 100 charges against those arrested, and seized drugs, cash, and a handgun. Three residences were also searched. Whitehead says a successful investigation is what being a police officer is about.

Whitehead says more suspects in the investigation remain at large. Those arrested face charges ranging from dealing cocaine and marijuana to neglect of a dependent.
