Bartholomew County Council President Bill Lentz

The county hopes to respond to concerns over misunderstanding of tornado sirens with a new electronic danger alert system.

Bartholomew County Council President Bill Lentz says the county may not be able to offer any money to help pay for $20,000 in damage which was done to a local cemetery.  Also, Lentz offers details about the county’s hopes for installation of a “reverse 911″ system.

First, Fred Armstrong is still shown as the Columbus mayor on this web page.

Second, in anticipation of tomorrow’s interview with Mayor Brown, I ask that the mistake from last month with Brown not be repeated.  Namely, there was journalistic sloppiness when (a) referring to an “anonymous source” when simply asking a question rather than presenting an accusation, and (b) pressing Brown to commit in writing her reasons for firing the transit director when recordings of the interview are archived and available to the public.
