Ask The Mayor
Mayor Greg Goodnight speaks again of the possible annexation of fourteen thousand residents in communities surrounding Kokomo. He clears up misconceptions of the impact of annexation, including the false belief that children will have to switch schools and taxes will increase. The city is pushing to have annexation completed by 2009 in order for its population count to include annexed residents in the 2010 Census. Goodnight also addresses budget adjustments and city revenue.
