Ask The Mayor

Columbus Mayor Fred Armstrong

Mayor Armstrong talks about the opening of 17th Street, new investment from overseas and his views on ethics reform.

Mayor Armstrong says his recent economic development trip to China and Japan could result in new investment in the coming weeks, in addition to 100 new jobs being created by a Japanese company which already has a presence in the city.  Additionally, the mayor says Republican mayoral candidate Kristen Brown’s call for ethics reform is laudable, but not necessary.
