Columbus Mayor Fred Armstrong talks about his upcoming State of the City address and what he wants the city to accomplish in 2009. He will also address Columbus’ ties to the domestic automobile industry and how that sector’s struggle affects the city.
Terre Haute Mayor Duke Bennett says no matter what the Indiana Supreme Court decides in his case against former mayor Kevin Burke, he’s confident the city will be ready to transition away from talking about who the rightful occupant of the mayor’s office is.
In the event of a last-minute cancellation by Bloomington Mayor Mark Kruzan, Bloomington City Parks and Recreation Director Mick Renneisen joined Ask the Mayor by phone. Then Kruzan walked into the studio a few minutes into the show, surprising not only host Stan Jastrzebski, but Renneisen as well.
