The Coro label brings us the debut release of Le Jardin Secret, an award-winning European ensemble, in a program of 17th-century French and Italian music surrounding the French political figure Cardinal Mazarin. We’ll also have a look at Tragicomedia’s 2000 ATMA release, with Canadian soprano Suzie Leblanc, of Italian songs connected to Mazarin.
