Masaaki Suzuki is a new Visiting Professor of Choral Conducting at Yale University.

Masaaki Suzuki, founder and music director of the Bach Collegium Japan, will spend the next two academic years teaching at Yale University’s School of Music and Institute of Sacred Music.

One of his principal duties as Visiting Professor of Choral Conducting is to direct the university’s premier vocal ensemble, the Yale Schola Cantorum.

Bernard Gordillo was born in Managua, Nicaragua, and raised in New Orleans. He holds degrees from Centenary College of Louisiana, the Early Music Institute at Indiana University, and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama (London). Bernard also writes and hosts the Harmonia Early Music Podcast.
